In the afterwards of COVID-19 pandemic, Türkiye's economy keeps its industrial manufacturing strength. Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) released August 2021 industrial production data, which has increased by 5.4 percent monthly and 13.8 percent annually.
Sectoral breakdown of the data unveiled manufacturing index witnessed the highest increase by 14.2 percent, followed by mining and energy indices, both having increased by 9.4 percent.
Commenting on the data, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank noted Türkiye keeps growing by manufacturing led by high and medium-high-tech sectors.
