Türkiye has recorded a monthly increase of 3.3 percent and an annual increase of 11.4 percent in industrial production in November 2021, according to the data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
Sectoral breakdown of the data unveiled manufacturing witnessed an increase of 12.5 percent in November, compared with the same month of the previous year, while production of medium high technology products increased by 9.6 percent.
Commenting on the data, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank noted, “With this performance, we once again recorded one of the highest increases among the European countries," and added Türkiye is expected to observe an industry-led growth in 2022.
