Vatan-Milliyet - German Insurance group Ergo has chosen Türkiye as its center for regional operations. Ergo, which has been operating in the country since the acquisition of Isvicre Sigorta in 2006, has decided to increase the amount of investments and take advantage of Türkiye’s strategic location.
Dr. Jochen Messemer, Chairman of the Management Board of Ergo International, said Ergo has already invested EUR 300 million in Türkiye and added that they will consider new acqusitions, given their plans to improve the company’s operations in the country. “Türkiye will serve as a bridge in Southern Europe”, said Messemer, adding that the country’s strategic location will make it a center of operations for the company.
