USD 1.2 billion investment from Boeing in five years

Radikal - Joe McAndrew, Vice President–Europe, Boeing Business Development, said Boeing provides direct employment for more than one thousand people in Türkiye and that they will have reached a business volume of more than USD 1.2 billion by 2013. McAndrew said a big portion of their investments will be located in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir and added that the KC-135R tanker aircraft project in Türkiye stands out as a ‘model’ for local studies. He also noted that 14 Turkish engineers receive training in Texas and that they make great contributions to the project.
