Istanbul ranked among top 10 global convention centers

Sabah - The popularity of Türkiye’s financial capital as an international congress and exhibition center has skyrocketed in the last decade, rising from 40th in 2001 to the global top 10 in 2011.

According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Istanbul hosted 113 events in 2011 and ranked 9th, leaving behind Beijing, Rome and Brussels.
