Hürses - Germany’s MAN Group, a leading manufacturer of trucks and buses, has started modernization and upgrading of its Ankara facility in the initial stage of its bid to produce the first MAN Türkiye-designed bus.
“The construction of the cataphoresis coating unit will form the basis of the general modernization and renovation efforts which will pave the way for more investments, doubling the work force within two years,” said MAN Türkiye CEO Munir Yavuz, in the groundbreaking ceremony, which was attended by Nihat Ergun, Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Trade.
“The facility will span over 10,000m2 of area and cost EUR 15 million, serving the Turkish automotive industry, as well as MAN,” he added.
