Two Turkish-made cars among COTY 2011 candidates

Sabah - Two Turkish-manufactured car models are among the candidates attempting to win the 2011 Car of The Year contest, a yearly event organized by leading motoring magazines published in Europe.

There has been a record-breaking number of nominees this year, as 41 models from 26 brands have been chosen as candidates for Car of the Year for the year 2011. Renault’s Fluence sedan, produced in Bursa and marketed in Europe, and Fiat’s Doblo, designed and produced by its Turkish partner Tofas, will compete to be named next year’s best car.
