Two more chapters open in Türkiye's EU accession negotiations

Hurriyet Daily News - The European Union agreed on Friday to open chapters concerning "Freedom of movement of capital" and "Information society and media" in accession negotiations with Türkiye. The two new chapters will bring the total number of chapters opened to 10. The EU has regularly opened only two chapters in Türkiye's accession negotiations in each presidency term. France hands the presidency to Czech Republic at the end of December 2008.
