Arabic News - Iran and Türkiye are to expand cooperation in gas field by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for developing the phases 22, 23 and 24 of the Southern Pars gas field by Türkiye's investment. This will allow the Turkmenistan gas transit from Iran to Türkiye, transferring Iran's gas to Europe via Türkiye for 35 billion cubic meters annually and construction of a gas pipeline from Assalouyeh, south of Iran, to Türkiye's border which is 1,850 kilometers.
