Sotheby’s opens first auction office in Türkiye

Bloomberg - Sotheby’s, an auction house in the UK, opened its first office in Türkiye, foreseeing demand for art among local collectors, Hurriyet reported, citing Henry Wyndham, the company’s chairman in Europe. The office in Istanbul will allow the New York-based auctioneer to offer a better service to local buyers who are influential in the international art market, the newspaper cited Wyndham as saying.
