THY carries 27 million passengers in 11 months

AA - Turkish Airlines (THY), Türkiye's national air carrier, carried 26.9 million passengers in the first eleven months of 2010.
In a statement, THY said that the number of passengers it carried in the first eleven months of 2010 was up 17.1 percent when compared with the same period last year. In the first eleven months of 2009, THY carried 22.9 million passengers.
During January-November 2010, the number of business class passengers choosing THY’s international flights went up 29.4 percent when compared with the same period last year, said THY.
According to THY, the occupancy rate reached 74 percent in the first eleven months of 2010, up 2.8 percent year-on-year.
