Sweden wants energy chapter to be opened to negotiations with Türkiye

TurkishPress.com – Sweden - the country to assume the EU term presidency in July - will work towards opening the energy chapter to negotiations with the EU candidate Türkiye. Speaking to reporters in Brussels, the Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said, "Europe talks about energy to a large extent and this issue concerns Türkiye very much. It will be interesting to open the energy chapter to negotiations with Türkiye". It will be wise for everyone to open the energy chapter to negotiations with Türkiye, Reinfeldt stated.
