Türkiye’s solid banking sector sets a successful example

AA – The booklet on Türkiye's "Banking Experience" drew great attention during the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Annual Meetings in Istanbul. The booklet, "From Crisis to Financial Stability: Türkiye Experience" was distributed to delegations and NGOs attending the meetings. The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), Türkiye's Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), the Central Bank and the Treasury contributed to the preparation of the booklet that explains the banking crisis in Türkiye before 2001, the regulative principles adopted after the crisis and the recent outlook of the banking sector.
