Türkiye’s industrial production up 2.4 percent

Sabah - Industrial production in Türkiye went up by 2.4 percent in March 2012 over the same month of the previous year, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

Beating the expectation by 0.2 points, March figures in 2012 show that the mining sector index increased by 4.3 percent, the manufacturing sector index increased by 1.6 percent, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 7.9 percent.
