Türkiye's industrial production up by 13.9 year-on-year in February

Star - Türkiye’s industrial production took a 13.9 percent hike in February over the same month of the previous year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) data.

Production in subsectors mining and quarrying increased by 6.4 percent, while manufacturing went up by 14.7 percent. The sector of production and distribution of electricity, gas, vapor and climatization saw an increase of 11.2 percent in February.

With seasonal adjustments applied, the industrial production index increased by 14 percent in the given period.
