Türkiye determined to finalise Turk Telekom IPO

CNN TURK - Head of the privatisation administration, Metin Kilci, told CNN Turk the government is determined to finalise the IPO for Türkiye Telekom, Türkiye’s only fixed-lines operator, in May. Turkish government will list 15% shares of the company. Kilci believes the IPO will attract investors’ interest despite the negative outlook in financial markets. Market and economic conditions will be assessed once again before launching the IPO in May, Kilci stated.
