Dunya - Türkiye and Russia could reach USD 100 billion in bilateral trade volume in four years, said Türkiye’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to reporters in Moscow, following a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Accompanying Erdogan, Taner Yildiz, Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, signed a declaration on cooperating to establishing a nuclear power plant in Türkiye, while Mehdi Eker, Türkiye’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, signed a separate pact. The nuclear declaration has started a process which, if agreeable for both sides, could lead to a concrete deal. On the last day of a two-day visit to Moscow, Erdogan reiterated his proposal to end visa requirements between the two countries, and Putin said work on this issue has already begun.
