AA - During his official visit to Saudi Arabia, Türkiye’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced Türkiye’s intention to raise the trade volume between two countries. Erdogan said he is sure Türkiye and Saudi Arabia will raise their trade volume to USD 10 billion in a few years.

"Our trade volume was over USD 5 billion in 2008”, said Erdogan during a Turkish-Saudi Arabian business people's meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, adding that he is sure this figure will climb to USD 20 billion in the following years.

Erdogan also expressed readiness to support Saudi Arabian investors, and called on Saudi Arabian businessmen to invest in Türkiye. "Your investments in finance, tourism, communication, agriculture and health will not only contribute to our best interests but also have a direct effect on economies of regional countries", he said, mentioning that the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT) is ready to assist investors.
