Aksam - Kordsa Global, cord fabric manufacturing subsidiary of Sabanci Holding, is aiming to increase its turnover to USD 1 billion in 2011, up from last year’s level of USD 850 million. During the press conference, Hakan Tiftik, Kordsa Global CEO, shared his assessment for 2010 and the company’s new targets for 2011, adding that they operate in a total of 10 plants with 5,000 employees globally. According to Tiftik, 55 percent of the company’s turnover comes from five large-scale global tyre manufacturers.
