Vatan – The first World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting that has been held for the first time since the beginning of the global crisis affecting the whole world took place yesterday in Istanbul. Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of WEF, said, “It is a good possibility that Türkiye, a leader in the region, will have become a much stronger country at the end of this crisis.” Alpaslan Korkmaz, President of Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye, has stated that, at the meetings, they talked to the investors who consider "Türkiye as an opportunity" and that investment funds are very interested in Türkiye.
