“Türkiye offers gigantic opportunities”

Hurses - Lord Mayor Michael Bear, Head of the City of London Corporation, the financial center of London, said that Türkiye is as important as BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries for the UK. On a visit to attend the event titled “Istanbul International Financial Center: Inputs from the London Experience” held at the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE), Bear highlighted the impressive scale of opportunities in Türkiye.

ISE President Huseyin Erkan, also delivering a speech at the event, said that Türkiye’s rapid growth in the past ten years not only attracted FDI but portfolio investments as well. “Istanbul is set to become the region’s financial center,” said Erkan.
