Gulf creates opportunities for the Turkish contractors

Referans – Continuing their public investments full steam ahead despite crisis, the Middle East and the Gulf region stand out as alternative markets. The two regions, alluring investors with their assets, have great opportunities, in particular for the Turkish contractors. Erdal Eren, Chairman of Turkish Contractors Association (TMB), says, “China has been hit hard by the crisis and so have Chinese investments in this region. We can increase our share while China’s influence wanes”. However, the concerns of the Turkish contractors, such as labor legislation and letter of guarantee should be addressed.
