Hürriyet - The world’s largest food company is going ahead with new investments in Türkiye. Nestle has announced an extension to its regional production hub located in Karacabey, Bursa in northwestern Türkiye to produce bullion products under the Maggi brand for export markets.

The Karacabey site, one of the major regional production sites for the Swiss company, is an important supply base for serving the North African and Middle Eastern markets. Having invested TRY 22 million (approx. USD 11 million) in new production lines, Nestle will create 100 new jobs at the complex. Bullion products will primarily be exported to Middle Eastern markets, especially to Saudi Arabia, according to a press release by the company.

Nestle added a cereals factory to the Karacabey hub in 2012 with an investment of USD 45 million.

Active in the Turkish market for over a century, Nestle has 5 production plants in the country, employing nearly 4,000 people.
