Sales of property to foreigners has restarted

Gunboyu – Circular letter on the execution of the new legal regulation regarding sale of real estate property to foreigners has been issued. With this new regulation, companies within the scope of Law on Foreign Direct Investment No. 4875, which previously stipulated that foreigners should acquire real estate property via means similar to those pursued by Turkish citizens, may now acquire real estate property with the approval of governorship.
