World Bank- IMF annual meetings to take place in Istanbul

AA - Annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will take place in Istanbul in October 6-7, 2009. 13,000 international participants including finance ministers and central bank governors of 185 countries are attending the annual meeting in Istanbul. Kristalina Georgieva, the vice president and corporate secretary of the World Bank, currently in Istanbul to attend preparations for the meeting, told reporters that hundreds of seminars and sessions would be organized at the meetings.
