“Predominantly employment-targeted investment will come”

AA - Alpaslan Korkmaz, President of Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye which carries out its activities under the Prime Ministry, has stated that Türkiye will receive predominantly employment-targeted greenfield investments in the months to come. Emphasizing that automotive companies which are already making investments or which are preparing to make investments in Türkiye are also interested in the units of technical research and engineering, Korkmaz said, “We would like foreign companies and foreign automotive companies to bring their engineering units to Türkiye, as well. We are also willing to have these services exported from Türkiye since the added value of these services are quite high.” Korkmaz has also stated that foreign investors are very much interested in Cesme, a town in Izmir, which they are willing to turn into a leading health, rejuvenescence and beauty center of the world.
