IMF - World Bank annual meetings to take place in Istanbul

Haber Turk - Istanbul will host annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank for 2009 during October 6-7. In this regard, the website of the 2009 annual meetings, "http://www.istanbul2009Türkiye.org", has been commissioned. Türkiye will host the annual meetings for the second time since 1955. Prior to the meetings, the Global Economic Outlook and Global Financial Stability Report will be made public. Global crisis, works of IMF-World Bank and meetings of Financial and Development Committee will be assessed during the general assembly meetings between October 6 and 7. High ranking officials of the international financial institutions, private sector, academicians and NGOs will attend the annual meetings.
