Hurriyet - A senior World Bank official urged Türkiye on Wednesday to continue reform efforts to improve investment atmosphere as the high-level Turkish officials left Ankara to attend the annual spring meetings of the IMF and World Bank. The closure case against the ruling AKP had been partly absorbed by the markets and Türkiye should continue reforms, Sigeo Katsu, the Vice-President of the World Bank told reporters in Washington. Katsu added they have been monitoring developments on the AKP lawsuit and Türkiye has a more resilient economy. ''It is not my job to predict by looking at a crystal sphere. But I think Türkiye is more resilient than it was before," he was quoted as saying by the Anatolian Agency.
