Tofas van demand from Europe set to rise in spring

Bloomberg - Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS, the Turkish manufacturer of vehicles for Fiat SpA and PSA Peugeot Citroen SA, said it will produce more vans in April and May as demand increases in France and Italy. Tofas, producing low-cost, compact vans for the two carmakers, will export more than 100,000 light commercial vehicles this year as sales increase in France and Italy on the back of government incentives, Chief Executive Officer Ali Pandir said in an interview in Istanbul. Tofas exported 99,383 trucks last year.
