New Erdemir plant to produce around 100,000 mt of steel a month

Reuters – Erdemir, Türkiye’s largest integrated steelmaker, has announced that its Iskenderun rolling mill will start production with a monthly capacity of 100,000 mt of steel in August, depending on orders. The new flat steel hot rolling mill situated in the Isdemir works in southern Türkiye has an annual capacity of 3.5 million mt. The company also said that it plans to boost its liquid steel production at Isdemir works to 5.3 million mt per year from the current level of 2.2 million mt, depending on market conditions.
