Ortadogu - Arab investors are expressing intense interest in the Mount Erciyes in Kayseri province after the region’s designation in Erciyes Master Plan as a potential tourism destination for winter sports. Investors from the UAE are planning to invest in the area for a skiing center and related facilities using the build-operate-transfer model. After visiting Kayseri, a business delegation from the Emirate of Ajman is not only offering to build and operate the facility but it is also guaranteeing an inflow of tourists from Arab countries. The Municipality of Kayseri is looking into the offer, evaluating both foreign and local investors’ proposals.
